Ohio’s workers and families have suffered greatly in today’s economy. Unfortunately, Washington has done little to nothing to help us recover, instead the Democrat majority pushed through an $800 billion "stimulus" bill that has not created or saved the jobs it promised and only added to our national debt. This bill straps our children with a massive debt that they will have to repay. It is clear; we cannot spend our way out of our current situation. Fred Dailey will oppose wasteful spending bills in Congress and will fight for meaningful and permanent tax relief in order to unleash the entrepreneurial spirit and to help hard working families keep more of the hard earned money.HEALTHCARE
Like most Americans, Fred Dailey is an advocate for increasing access to affordable and high quality healthcare. However, Fred does not believe a government take over of our healthcare system is the answer and if elected, Fred will stand firm against government-run healthcare. Additionally, Fred will not support a plan that covers illegal immigrants or one that cuts Medicare. Fred will fight for reduced regulation and lower taxes on small businesses, making it easier for them to purchase healthcare coverage for employees. Fred will also work to enact meaningful tort reform, which doctors and hospitals agree is necessary to reduce the cost of healthcare.VETERANS
As a combat veteran himself, Fred Dailey will always work to protect veterans and work to ensure they receive the benefits and services they have earned and deserve. Fred will be a true advocate and will ensure that veterans' services will be a top priority for him and his office.TAXING AND SPENDING
Fred Dailey believes government is too big, spends too much, and taxes too often. During the Bush Administration, Republicans lost their way and became reckless in their spending. Now, during the first year of the Obama Administration, the reckless spending has accelerated. Fred’s message is simple...stop spending our children’s future away and balance the budget. Ohio's own John Kasich led the fight in the 1990’s to balance the budget, and he was successful at balancing our budget for the first time in a generation. We must get back to a balanced budget and we need to work to simplify our tax code.ENFORCING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS
Fred Dailey will wholeheartedly oppose amnesty for illegal immigrants. Fred will also be an advocate for enforcing the immigration laws that are already in place and he will fight to build the border fence along our southern border.PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF THE UNBORN
Nothing is more precious to Fred than his children and grandchildren. Fred Dailey believes all life is sacred and in Congress he will support legislation to overturn Roe v. Wade.PROTECTING YOUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS
Fred did not wait until he was a candidate for Congress to join the NRA. Fred first joined the NRA as a teenager. Fred Dailey is an avid hunter and life member of the NRA. Fred believes that our 2nd Amendment rights are in jeopardy and must be defended. Fred received an A rating from the NRA for his commitment to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights.
